Shimla, Nov 3
National BJP chief Jagat Prakash Nadda’s own home assembly constituency wants vote for change as constituents feels that inflation is a big issue.
BJP seemed to be silent on the price-rise despite keeping it always has kept it close to heart as major pollplank in every election. Moreover ungratified over the gift of AIIMS and Hydro Engineering College by the Prime minister Narendra Modi people of Bilaspur revealed the sentiments in a harsh tone stating that in wake of upcoming assembly election an unfinished AIIMS project which would take at least one year for the completions has been Commissioned before time. A student Komal complained that recruitmentnin AIIMS is being done in fishy manner in which local educated and qualified youth expected to be employed first were not given preference. Most of staff in the AIIMS are being recruited from BJP states like, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarpradesh. Hydro Engineering College was inaugurated without completing modalities.
An Apsara beauty parlour owner said that the growing inflation under BJP regime is the biggest issue. BJP which is trying to project the towering face of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Jagat Prakash Nadda as son of soil and chief of so-called world’s largest party is not resonating in election at the small hill state. BJP so far denying the fallout of inflation in electrol politics seems to be mistaken about the ground reality.
Local Constituents, President of New Baramana Taxi Union Bilaspur Jageet Singh told HS that their business suffered worst in time of Corona Pandemic as they were not issued passes by administration however private vehicles are being allowed to ply without permit as commerical vehicle. Political parties have booked large number of Private Vehicle in the Elelection campaign however without producing certified bills the expenses could not be ascertained. We were compensated by merely waiving off Rs 300 commercial yearly taxes.
In Bilaspur BJP has field Tarlok Jamwal as party candidate in place of sitting MLA Subhash Thakur againsit Congress one time MLA Bambar Thakur. A BJP rebel Subhash Sharma is in the contest as party could not pursuade the dissident.
Jageet Singh said that Subash Sharma is also in the contest including CPI(M), AAP and Devbhumi Rashtriya Party.
Secretary of New Baramana Taxi Union Shahjad said that OPS is an issue in the election and recruitment of drivers was done by Jai Ram Thakur Government in very fishy manner as most of drivers of Mandi district are got jobs. He said that Government purchase expensive vehicle Crista to run in Shimla town which is sheer wastage of public money.
Shahjad said that Flfour lane construction was pending since last many years.
During Corona pandemic insurance company did not extend renewal date puting burdens on the cab operators. BJP though deployed 450 buses and changed route permit of buses to carry passengers to ensure hassle free political rallies. However, every permitted vehicle or bus is insured on a particular route and in case of any eventuality of any passengers couldn’t be compensated.
Sitting minister Rajinder Garg is locked in one to one contest against Congress three times MLA Rajesh Dharmani . One of resident Ghumarwin also says that people may vote for change and BJP slogan to change custom of mission repeat is not appearing to be realised. He said that inflation couldn’t be countered by the ruling BJP hitting people on belly.
The voice of youth also resonates in the Election as new employement svenue are not created by this government. AIIMS dedication to public show in hurry by this govt as it couldn’t showcase any major achievement in last five years.
Tarlok Jamwal and Garg holding party plum posts have strong antiincombency as they couldn’t focus on the local development. In Bilaspur Congress could won only Naina Devi seat but party may give fight on all seats as people have no expectations from BJP.
Disconnect of BJP leaders on the ground including Subhash Thakur also posing big threat for ruling party. JP Nadda has given ticket to two of loyalists including Jamwal and Garg however ticket to Randhir Sharma (Naina Devi) and sitting MLA Jeet Ram Katwal (Jhanduta) is given to Dhumal loyalists.
