Shimla, July 5
In preparation for the 2024 apple season, Deputy Commissioner of Shimla, Anupam Kashyap, has announced new transportation rates for apple haulage based on weight (kilograms) instead of the number of boxes, organized by region.
Deputy Commissioner Kashyap explained that meetings were held by all sub-divisional officers (SDOs) with local truck operator unions and apple growers’ associations to establish these rates.
