Shimla, May 3
On Tuesday, a psychiatric patient availing health services in Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital Shimla ended his life by hanging to a roof sealing in the premises, the police sources confirmed. Reportedly the deceased was found hanging in one of the bathrooms of the institution. When the hospital employees found about it, they reported it to their administration.
Pushpraj’s son of Tejram, a resident of Karsog in Mandi district of Himachal, was admitted to the psychiatric ward of IGMC Shimla. In his early thirties, the patient ended life by hanging from the roof sealing. The police are taking further action, wherein a case under section 174 CrPC has been registered.
