Rohru, Aug. 2,
Eight-year-old Vanya Chauhan, a Grade III student of The Foundation Years School, Rohru, has become a source of inspiration for young readers and aspiring writers after publishing two storybooks at a remarkably young age.
Vanya’s achievement has been widely appreciated by her school, teachers and parents, who described it as a reflection of her creativity, imagination and love for storytelling. She is already working on her third book, which is expected to be published soon.
Speaking about her achievement, Vanya said she feels happy to see her name on two published books and hopes to author many more in the future. While she is uncertain about what career she will eventually choose, she said reading and writing will always remain her favourite hobbies.
Crediting her success, Vanya expressed gratitude to her school and her grandfather. She said she has been studying at The Foundation Years School since 2022 and believes the confidence she has gained there has helped her express herself. She also acknowledged the constant encouragement and inspiration provided by her grandfather.
Headmistress Ridhima Thakur congratulated Vanya on her accomplishment and said such achievements encourage other children to believe in their abilities and develop a love for reading and creative writing. She noted that the school strives to provide an environment where students can explore their talents beyond academics through activities that promote creativity, confidence and independent thinking.
She said Vanya’s success demonstrates that age is no barrier to literary expression when children receive the right guidance and encouragement.
The Foundation Years School also extended its congratulations to Vanya and her family for the achievement and wished her continued success in her literary journey. The school expressed hope that her stories would inspire many more children to discover the joy of reading, writing and creative expression, while serving as an example of how young minds can achieve remarkable milestones through imagination, dedication and support.
