Regular service for contractual employees in two yrs
Shimla, April 30
The Himachal Pradesh Government has announced that it will regularize the services of contractual employees who have completed two years of service as of March 31, 2023. Additionally, employees who are due to complete two years of service by September 30, 2023, will also be regularized after that date. The government has also decided to regularize the services of daily waged workers who have completed four years of service as of March 31, 2023, and those who are due to complete four years of service by September 30, 2023, will also be regularized. Notifications regarding these decisions have been issued by the State Government.
In a press statement, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu mentioned that the State Government has also fulfilled the longstanding demand of employees by reinstating the Old Pension Scheme for NPS employees. This decision has benefitted 1.36 lakh employees and will provide them with social security and the right to live a dignified life. The Chief Minister stated that the present State Government has taken a humanitarian approach to make decisions for the welfare of every section of society.
