Road accident: HRTC bus rolls down in Karsog of District Mandi
Shimla, June 1
Reports arriving here that in a tragic incident today, a Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus with registration number HP-03B 6211 rolled down 300 feet from the road in Kshol near Karsog of District Mandi. The accident occurred earlier today, and as per initial information was carrying 40 passengers. Though, the total number of passengers on board is yet to be confirmed.
The District Emergency Operation Centre (DEOC) in Mandi has promptly responded to the incident. Ambulances have been dispatched to the scene to provide immediate medical assistance to the injured individuals. Authorities are still awaiting further details from the field, including an exact count of the passengers on the bus. The situation is being closely monitored, and rescue operations are underway.
The local police are actively investigating the cause of the accident, and more information will be made available as the situation unfolds.
