Road accident in Himachal Pradesh: Two Killed and Two Injured
Shimla, April 3
In incidents that occurred in the past 24 hours, two people lost their lives, and two others sustained injuries in separate road accidents in Himachal Pradesh.
According to the State Disaster Management Authority spokesperson, a pickup vehicle rolled down at Paniyali area under Dadahu Tehsil in Sirmaur district yesterday evening, resulting in the death of two individuals on the spot. The deceased were identified as Vinod and Dila Ram, who belonged to Tehsil Nerwa of District Shimla.
In another incident that took place at 6.15 am today, an Alto car rolled down Tikkar of Rohru Tehsil of District Shimla, causing minor injuries to two people. The injured individuals were immediately shifted to Rohru Hospital for treatment.
The cause of both accidents is yet to be determined, but it is believed that over-speeding might have played a role. The local authorities have urged people to exercise caution while driving and follow all traffic rules to avoid such tragedies in the future.
