Shimla, June 1
After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Garib Kalyan Sammelan, there has been an uproar over the issue of not giving priority to the some BJP leader, while Jai Ram Thakur and the leaders who managed the forum have been scolded.
According to sources, a leader of BJP Mahila Morcha has expressed her displeasure on the spot. According to the BJP leader, she was scolded by state in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna as he told her that this issue could be discussed later.
On this, she even said that this issue to the be taken to the top and kept speaking loudly at the meeting place. The said leader in the party is a fan and supporter of BJP’s national president Jagat Prakash Nadda.
On the other hand, former spokesperson of the party and Vice President of Himfed, Ganesh Dutt has tweeted that some people in Himachal BJP are hijacking the party’s system in the guise of becoming a Sarvasarva( Supermo ), this trend is fatal for the party. Such people should be stopped. Ganesh Dutt who is vice chairman of HIMFED tweeted ‘In Himachal BJP some people are highjacking the party system in the pursuit of becoming Sarvasarva, this trend is fatal for the party, such people should be reined in.’ post also tagged@narendermodi@jpnadda and @jairamthakurbjp @ganeshdutt
It is being said that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur invited Congress MP Pratibha Singh to attend the rally but did not call the presidents and vice-presidents of various boards and corporations of the government.
On the other hand, there has been a debate about the absence of big leaders of the state in the Modi rally at the city. Many believe that Modi did the right thing. While many believe that it has been insult for the people of the state and the leaders of the state.
Angry BJP leaders are saying that a list was sent regarding whose name are to be taken from the stage. But those who handled the management of this program did not allow anyone to be named. Neither the National President of BJP nor Rajya Sabha member from the state, Jagat Prakash Nadda, nor former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar and Prem Kumar Dhumal were present in this rally. Rather, the rest of the MPs also remained absent from the stage. Anurag Thakur didn’t even get a chance to speak. Modi did not even take his name, as Thakur sat on the stage like a non entity. Moreover, the Mayor of the BJP-ruled Shimla Municipal Corporation, Satya Kaundal, was also not allowed on the stage.
In such a situation, the supporters of these leaders are considering it as an insult to their leaders. Interestingly, BJP’s in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna and BJP’s national president Saudan Singh were also not allowed on the stage. Who did all this, is the quest which now all angry BJP members are trying to find out.
A ruling BJP worker said that those who got the party to this point in this Congress-dominated state are being sidelined and ignored, today. Where will this displeasure of workers and supporters take the state BJP in the election year, it will be known only in the coming days and Shimla Municipal Corporation Shimla, he stated. The State BJP despite having double engine government faced four nill defeat in the recent bye poll. The same could be caused due to the faultlines in the Saffron party as now Sangh Parivar is in the helms of affairs. Party couldn’t save security from being forfietted in Jubbal Kotkhai bye election because of the ecentric approch, wherein party sidliners showed concern over ignoring them.
