SP Dr. Karthikeyan Gokul Chandran confirmed that a case has been registered under Section 351 of the Indian Penal Code.
In a recorded call message, separatist leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu from SFJ had threatened Chief Minister Sukhu, warning him against hoisting the national flag at Shaheed Bhuvnesh Dogra Ground in Dehra. Similar threats were directed at the Deputy Commissioner of Kangra and SDM. This organization has a history of such intimidation.
Additionally, Gagret MLA Rakesh Kalia reported receiving a threatening call from an individual claiming affiliation with the Sikh for Justice organization. The caller threatened to kill the Chief Minister and carry out a bomb blast if Independence Day celebrations continued as planned. MLA Kalia has filed a case against the unknown caller.
