Slaughter house with 10 to 15 houses collapse in Krishna Nagar Shimla

Shimla, Aug 15
Number of houses have collapsed due to a major landslide occurred Vishnu Mandir area near the new slaughter house in Krishna Nagar outskirt of capital town.
According to former Mayor of Shimla Sanjay Chauhan said that four to five houses  reported collapsed as entire hillock caved down 100 meter below. Rescue and rehabilitation party is rushed to the spot .
However, reports from field suggest that 10-15 house have been damaged in the incident including the slaughter house. Most of houses impacted by the disaster were already vacated but the slaughter house was functional.
Neighbourhood citizens and eye witnesses have stated that the area was already declared unsafe, and thus most of the houses had been vacated. However loss of life or injuries is yet to be denoted, eye witness inform that there may have been 4-5 people working inside the slaughter house.
As a preliminary measure the authorities have also started vacating the nearby houses of the area. More details are awaited, stay tuned.
