Vikas Prabhakar, a Shopkeeper and President of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Mandal, was brutally attacked and killed by two assailants wielding sharp weapons. The incident occurred at his shop on Railway Road, Nangal in Una district of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday night. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh confirmed the assault, revealing that the perpetrators arrived on an Activa Motorcycle before swiftly fleeing the scene.
Upon discovery, Vikas Prabhakar was found in a critical condition by an employee of a neighboring shop. Despite being rushed to Civil Hospital Nangal, doctors sadly pronounced him dead.
The police, now in pursuit of the suspects, are meticulously examining CCTV footage from the area to identify and bring the assailants to justice.
