Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania announced that the winter session of the Legislative Assembly will be held at Tapovan in Dharamshala from December 18 to 21, 2024. The session, comprising four meetings, will mark the seventh session under the current government.
The Speaker confirmed that he has accepted the government’s proposal to hold the session at Tapovan and forwarded it to the Governor for approval. Once approved, an official notification will be issued. To ensure a smooth session, Pathania stated that he had instructed the Kangra District Administration to begin preparations and will personally visit Dharamshala soon to review the arrangements.
Pathania shared these updates upon his return from an educational and informative 22-day foreign tour. On his arrival at the Legislative Assembly Secretariat, he was warmly welcomed by Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania, MLA Malendra Rajan, and officers and staff of the Secretariat.
Speaking about his international visit, Pathania mentioned that it provided valuable insights and practical experiences, which he plans to share during a press conference scheduled for tomorrow at 11:30 AM.
The upcoming winter session is expected to address key issues and deliberate on the state’s pressing matters, marking an important legislative engagement in Dharamshala.
