Yellow alert, Kullu Admin. close all education Institutions 

Shimla, August 20

Inwake of yellow alert by Meterogical Department, the district administration of Kullu has closed down all private and government education Institution for next two days including Aganwadis. In a notification issued here today Deputy Commissioner Kullu Ashutosh Garg said that Indian Meteorological Department has forecasted heavy rain ( yellow alert ) throughout the district for 20-8-2022 and there has been incessant rain activity for the past 7-8 hours in almost all parts of the district and road closures have been reported from the various parts of the district. The order said that  in view of the safety or security of the students, he orders the closure of all schools  Private as well as Government  and Anganwadi centers shall remain closed throughout the district for today.

All concerned Head of Departments are directed to ensure strict compliance of the order in interest of safety or security of the students .
