Delhi- Shimla Volvo hit by truck, narrow escape for 37 passengersÂ

A Delhi-Shimla bound high end, luxary Volvo bus service of HRTC got hit by a rashly driven truck. In the accident, all 37 passengers on board and crew had a narrow escape.

A spokesperson of HRTC said that Volvo bus (HP-63-8669) left Delhi to Shimla at 10:30pm on Wednesday but, mid way a truck hit the driver side and caused heavy damages to bus.

Fortunately no passengers as well as the staff remained safe in the mishap. Errant truck driver along with vehicle succeeded to run away from the spot.

The passengers travelling in the bus were later shifted in other buses upto Chandigarh and TM-Chandigarh. Passengers were facilitated with great comfort in another service up to Shimla, thereafter.

In the last few days it is second mishap of HRTC bus.
