Himachal Pradesh receives first post-Monsoon rain, after 21 days dry spell ends

After a 21-day dry spell, several regions in Himachal Pradesh experienced a significant post-monsoon rain event. According to the Meteorological Office, the rainfall figures for various locations are as follows:
Bilaspur: 18.2 mm, Una: 15.8 mm, Bharmour (Chamba): 14 mm, Dalhousie (Tourist Resort): 13 mm, Sarahan (Shimla): 11 mm, Bhuntar Airport (Kullu): 7.8 mm, Palampur (Kangra): 7.6 mm, Dharamshala: 7.2 mm, Kufri (Tourist Resort) and Shimla: 6 mm, Jubberhati Airport: 5.7 mm, Keylong (Lahaul Spiti) and Manali: 5 mm.
The minimum temperature in Keylong dipped to 1.1 degrees Celsius, a drop of 3.4 degrees compared to yesterday. Other minimum temperatures recorded were Kalpa (Kinnaur) and Kufri: 5.4 degrees Celsius each, Narkanda: 4 degrees Celsius, Dalhousie: 6 degrees, Manali: 7.4 degrees, Shimla: 9 degrees, Jubberhati: 11 degrees, Dharamshala: 13 degrees, Una: 15 degrees Celsius, Nahan: 20 degrees, Solan: 12 degrees, Kangra: 15 degrees, Mandi: 13.4 degrees, Bilaspur: 18.7 degrees and Chamba: 13.6 degrees Celsius
The Meteorological Office has forecast mainly dry weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
