HP Legislative assembly Winter Session at Tapovan likely to be convened in Dec
Shimla, Nov 15
The Himachal Pradesh Legislative assembly Winter Session is likely to be held at Tapovan Vidhansabha Complex near Dharmshala, next month.
The State council of ministers meeting scheduled to be held on November 18 at Shimla may approve the planning of session. Speaker of HP Legislative assembly Kuldeep Singh Pathania today informed that Vidhan Sabha Secretariat has proposed the schedule for approval of the Council of ministers and thereafter consent by the Governor.
He said that State Assembly secretariat is fully prepared for the winter session. Adding, that on approval of any of the two proposals sent the final arrangements to hold the winter session will be given shape. Talking about the two proposals are either from December 11 to 17 or December 18 to 25. As per the speaker the State government may soon decide the dates.
Noteworthy that it is unlikely to delay the winter session any further, as hereafter the State Budget session is to be also be scheduled in February 2024.
