Shimla, Aug 5
Himachal Pradesh Government on Wednesday assigned Surjeet Singh, HPAS (2012 batch), Additional District Magistrate (Development)-cum-Project Director, DRDA, Kullu, the additional charge of the post of Deputy Commissioner, Kullu, with immediate effect until further orders.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel (Appointment-I Section), Surjeet Singh will hold the additional charge of the district’s top administrative post in the public interest.
The arrangement follows the transfer of Anurag Chander Sharma, IAS (2016 batch), who has been relieved as Deputy Commissioner, Kullu, and directed to report to the Department of Personnel for his next posting with immediate effect.
Both notifications were issued on August 5 by the Department of Personnel and signed by Rajiv Kumar, Special Secretary (Personnel), to the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
