Reports arriving that the accused absconding after the murder of 21yrs old employee of Wake and bake bakery from the Mall road was nabbed by the four teams of Shimla police at Hisar of Haryana last night. SP Shimla Sanjeev Gandhi confirmed that the accused has been arrested from Sirsa in Haryana on Monday evening.
He has been brought to Shimla, wherein would be produced before the magistrate on Tuesday. A case under relevant section of the IPC 302 has been registered, stated the SP.
According to the police preliminary investigation Satyendra Pal, who worked in Zero Degree restaurant situated next to Wake and Bake restaurant, attempted theft. When Manish got wind of this, and perhaps tried to stop him the accused attacked with a sharp weapon. After being attacked thrice, Manish himself ran towards the police control room in a injured state carrying the weapon alongwith.

Though it not yet clear how did the victim Manish manage to get hold of the murder weapon, as the same may come fore after the police interrogation but the victim managed to wake up the police officials in the control room, by somehow breaking the glass of the control room. Reportedly, victim Manish (Deceased victim) fell at two places before making it near to the control room.
A police jawan post on duty on Mall road said that victim fell on the road indicating towards the crime scene about absconding accused but they did not find any one and accused managed to slip away narrowly.
The police wrapped him in a blanket and took him to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) Shimla in an injured condition. Where the doctors declared him dead.
The SHO Sadar said in the media statement that after the murder, accused Satyendra Pal talked on phone to Sachin, who worked in Zero Degree restaurant, at around quarter to three in the night. Sachin was taken into custody, who revealed this.
On Monday the family members of the deceased youth remained on strike till late night (2200hrs) outside the police control room in Shimla. Even the opposition BJP took the issue in the ongoing budget session of the Vidhan Sabha. Slogans were also raised against the state government and the police in front of the Control room by the opposition members and concerned stakeholders.
