After three days of withdrawal of SW Monsoons, normal public services are yet to be restored in the State as dozens of main roads and power supply lines are still disrupted, confirmed a state government spokesperson.
He said that about 31 major roads are still to be restored and 88 power distribution transmission lines are out of order, in the State.
As many as 12 roads are yet to be restored in Kangra district as seven roads are affected in Jaisinghpur sub division, two in Palampur, one each in Shahpur, Dharamshala and Kangra.
Six roads are closed in Kullu, five in Shimla, three each in Chamba and Sirmaur and one in Lahaul-Spiti and Solan district. One road is closed in Solan district attributed to shortage of funds for restoration.
As many as 87 power distribution regions are affected in Sub Division Paonta of Sirmour district and one in Pooh of Kinnaur. According to Met Office western disturbances brought around 6 mm rain at Paontasahib.
They added that no minimum temperatures changes have been noted during the past 24 hours Average Minimum temperatures were above normal in the state and Kukumseri in Lahaul-Spiti was coldest with 4.5 degrees minimum temperature.
Last night an incident of drowning was reported at Dehra near Shamshan Ghat Sub. Div Dehra. In the same two persons are missing. Police team is on the spot. Victims are reported to be locals.
As many as seven people died and 11 injured during the past 24 hrs in various mishaps including three in Sirmaur, two in Kullu, one each in Hamirpur and Una.
