nCoV toll mounts to 55 , two die on MondayÂ

Including a MLA Reeta Dhiman from Indora, 154 people tested positive in the state today. Reportedly she attended the house till 1800 hours today. However after testing positive she was sent to isolation.
Besides the virus claimed two more casualty mounting the toll to 55 in the state.
Adl Chief Secretary Health R D Dhiman said that now total number of Covid cases went up to 7489 in the state including 2111 active and 5311 cured.
He said that 56 yrs old man belonged to Kinnuar district died at Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital on today. She was admitted at PGI Chandigarh recently who was brought to IGMC on Sep 5 died early morning today Â
A 80 yrs old woman also died at Medical College Chamba today who was suffering with didactic disease . the report of patient was also found positive on Monday.Â
With this total number of Covid toll mounted to six in Chamba, five in Hamirpur10 in Kangra four in Shimla, three in Sirmaur and 14 in Solan and five in Una .
Till this evening 154 new cases were traced in the state. According to a Vidhan Sabha official BJP member from Indora Rita Dhiman was found positive for the nCoV as her rapid test was conducted at Vidhan Sabha complex here today.
MLA was complaining fever for last four days and found positive for nCoV during here test . Dhiman attended Vidhan Sabha proceeding till 1800 hrs today but she was isolated soon-after her medical examination was found positive for the virus. She became the fifth member of this assembly including two ministers who have tested positive for the virus.
Among those tested positive are Mahinder Singh thakur( IPH Minister and BJP MLA from Dharmpur), Sukh Ram Chaudhary( Power minsiter and MLA from Poantasahib) Paramjeet Singh Pami( BJP MLA from Doon and Lakhvinder Singh Rana ( Cong MLA from Nalahgarh ) and Reeta Dhiman ( BJP MLAÂ from Indora) .
The wife of Gagret MLA Rajesh Thakur wife , daughter , PA , PSO were tested positive, three employees of IPH department and and a revenue department also tested positive.
Among the 154 people found positive on Monday include 48 from Kangra, 47 from Mandi, 28 from Una, 11 from Lahaul Spiti, seven each from Bilaspur and Chamba, six from Sirmaur. respectively.
