The BJP’s state president, Dr. Rajiv Bindal, unveiled a carefully crafted plan by announcing the election in-charge and co-in-charge for the upcoming by-elections across various constituencies. This move, aimed at solidifying the party’s grip on power, was disclosed by BJP state media in-charge Karan Nanda.
Former minister Mahendra Thakur has been appointed as the election in-charge for the Lahaul Spiti by-election, signaling a strategic choice of an experienced hand. Similarly, for the crucial Dharamshala constituency, MLA Pawan Kajal will serve as the election in-charge, supported by state secretary Vishal Chauhan and former MLA Jiyalal as co-in-charges.
In the Dehra constituency, the reins have been handed to former minister MLA Bikram Thakur as the election in-charge, accompanied by former state secretary Virendra Chaudhary and district president Sanjeev Sharma as co-in-charges. This meticulous selection of leaders underscores the BJP’s commitment to meticulous election management.
For Gagret, the responsibility rests on the shoulders of state secretary and former MLA Rajesh Thakur, bolstered by the expertise of former Yuva Morcha president Amit Thakur, former MLA Naveen Dhiman, and district council member Sushil Kalia. The Kutlehar constituency will witness former state president and MLA Satpal Sati as the election in-charge, with state vice-president Sajeev Katwal serving as co-in-charge.
Sujanpur’s election strategy will be overseen by MLA and chief spokesperson Rakesh Jamwal, accompanied by state secretary and former Yuva Morcha president Narendra Atri. They will be supported by election associates Anil Thakur, Mahesh Sipahiya, Ashok Sharma, and Chaman Lal Thakur. Similarly, Barsar’s election campaign will be spearheaded by MLA and former general secretary Trilok Jamwal, with former MLA Kamlesh Kumari as co-in-charge and election associates Raseel Singh Mankotia, Vijay Pal Sarahu, Abhayveer Lovely, and Dalveer Singh Thakur.
The Hamirpur constituency’s election endeavors will be led by state spokesperson Mohinder Dharmani, backed by election associates Pyare Lal Sharma, Devraj Sharma, Raghuveer Singh, and Anil Sama. Lastly, Nalagarh’s election charge will be taken up by former state president and former MP Suresh Chandel.
