Case on MLA Vikramditya Singh by his wife: ACJM court amends reference of NBW on E-court portal

In the case filed by Sudarshana Chundawat against Shimla Rural MLA Vikramaditya Singh and others, the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Udaipur today amended e-court portal proceeding about the reference of Non-bailable warrant against Vikramditya Singh and others on the plea of defense counsel.
The counsel for Vikramaditya Singh and Pratibha Singh, M/s Durga Singh Shekhawat moved an application before the court of ACJM Udaipur today seeking correction in the e-court portal. Accepting the plea of defense counsel, the court has now amended the proceedings by replacing Service for NBW with Cognizance/ issuance of process /service in the e-court portal now.
As it has been stated earlier that the wife of MLA Vikramaditya Singh has lodged a case against Singh, his mother Pratibha Singh, his sister Aprajita Singh and others. The matter was listed for hearing before ACJM court today but reportedly due to boycott of bar association members the court matter hearing was adjourned for the next date.
The spouse of the young MLA has blamed Singh and his family for allegedly involving in domestic violence and demanding dowry as case was registered in the court under section 12 of Domestic violence Act.
The matter was filed before the court on Oct 17, 2022 and first hearing was scheduled on November 17, 2022, the court webportal highlights. It is worthwhile to mention that Vikramditya Singh have also issued rebuttal in social media, terming it a family Internal matter. In a video message he has stated that the matter would be sorted out through mediation soon.
