Shimla, Dec 10
The Congress legislative party meeting is going to be convened at the Himachal Pradesh Assembly secretariat around 5 pm on Saturday, informed a party elected MLA. New Vidhayak Dal meeting of Congress party is likely to meet at ruling lobby of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha late this afternoon to announce the name of new Vidhayak Dal leader.
Vidhan Sabha Secretary Yashpal Sharma said that a meeting of Congress Vidhak Dal is proposed by the party today but the timing of the same have not been intimated yet. Congress High command was authorised by the newly elected legislative party last night to elect new Vidhayak Dal which may announced its decision in the CLP meeting party, inform our sources.
Congress central observors including Rajiv Shukla, Chhatisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Bhagel and Haryana Chief minister met MLAs one to one at Cecil hotel today to take the party MLAs choice of leaders.
It is very unlikely that Congress legislators to be consulted during CLP meeting and decision of AICC highcommand to be final and expected final to all after handing over resolution for purposes last night.
Speculations are, that it would be a mere announcement of new Vidyak Dal leader and all MLAs would put signature on the Election draft. After the CLP meeting decision a press conference maybe expected by 6.30 pm this evening. The choice of CLP leader is to be made between Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Mukesh Agnihotri. Also, though not confirmed, but rumours of a Dy Chief Minister are also being aired
Central observers likely to stay here today and induction of new council of ministers and oath may be Schedule up to December 12 , 2022 in presence of senior AICC leaders .
