The Himachal Pradesh High court directed all presiding officers of the courts in the state to accept the downloaded copy of bail or interim order, said a one page order issued by the Registrar (Vigilance) V K Sharma.
The High court spokesperson informed on Wednesday that order was issued on june 3 and sent to all courts. Sharma said that this order was passed by the court after noticing that whenever the litigants as well as lawyers submit the downloaded copies of bail orders or interim orders passed by the High Court before the trial court, the Presiding Officer ( s ) of the trial Courts are insisting for certified copies of such orders . ” This practice is cumbersome , causing inconvenience to the litigants and also contravening of the fundamental rights of the under trials . ” one page letter sent to all judges and judicial officers said.
Subordinate courts are asked to accept the downloaded copies of the bail orders or interim orders passed by the High Court. The downloaded copy of order to be signed by the counsel of representing parties however , before accepting such order it could be verified from the High Court website .
