Himachal till date has seen only three corona positive cases. Yet the coming few days are going to be critical for the state. If the number of cases rise then quarantine of such patients is going pertinent. Keeping in view the Shimla district administration has decided to covert two private hospitals, 2 colleges and one government school to be used as Institutional Quarantine facility if required.
“ In the exercise of power vested in me under the regulation no 3 of the Himachal Pradesh (COVID-19) regulation 2020,following institutions are hereby declared as Institutional quarantine facilities for the purpose of suspected/probable cases of Covid-19,” reads the order.
As per the order Government Senior Secondary school Shoghi, Centre of excellence Government Degree College, Sanjauli Shimla, Government Degree College Dhami, SriRam hospital Shimla and Indus hospital Navbahar Shimla are the institutions named.
