Seems, the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu government maybe wanting to take control of the ACC Barmana and Ambuja Darlaghat plants as it has sought dosier of information about the two cement plants. Before the probable last round of talk on Friday a letter has been issued to Deputy Commissioners of Bilaspur and Solan by the concerned department that in a format, information should be given to Goverment about the status of land owned by these units. Information like whether land was purchased or taken on lease, etc has been soughted.
Deputy commissioner would also give information to Government about the condition of acquiring Land and did the State Government acquire said land under Land Acquisition Act, 1894 for the company. Government also want to know about Land given on mining lease. Land which has been purchased by the company from private owners directly with detail of permission u / s 118 at different point of time till date. Quantum of Land, Purpose & action taken thereof has been been asked for by the department.
It seems that Goverment must have some catch in the hand as the Cement company so far has been trying to garner support from top bureaucracy in the state.
