“Starting today, will mark the beginning of a Enviro-Ideation Hackathon 2023, a dynamic event dedicated to addressing critical environmental issues through creative problem-solving,” stated Anil Joshi, Member secretary, H.P Pollution control board. Themed “Waste to Wonder,” this hackathon aims to engage and empower undergraduate and above students from Himachal Pradesh to find innovative solutions to pressing environmental challenges, including solid waste, plastic waste, e-waste, and C&D waste, he added.

During the three-week hackathon, to culminate on World environment day, the participants will form teams and work tirelessly to develop ground breaking ideas that contribute to the preservation and conservation of our environment. Through their collective talent and knowledge, these aspiring innovators hope to unlock fresh perspectives and pioneer solutions with the potential to create a lasting positive impact, he added.
