Shimla, June 15
A junior female doctor working in Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital Shimla of Himachal Pradesh was found dead, here on Wednesday. She lived in a rented accommodation, confirmed a police officer.
The medical student was serving in Surgery department of IGMC Shimla. She had rented a house in Lakkar Bazar near the hospital.
When in the morning she did not come out of her house the neighbours alerted the police. Whereafter, the police arrived at the spot and found her dead body. “We took the dead body in possession and sent it to the mortuary in Shimla, informed Sadar Police SHO Sandeep. He said that their team reached the spot as soon as they got information about the incident. The deceased woman was alone in the house. Currently the body is in possession of the investigating agency and a further probe is underway. Police officer said that deceased belonged to Delhi.
