Fire engulfs migrant huts in Una district

Shimla, May 7
A fire broke out near Village Lal Singhi on Old Hoshiarpur Road in Tehsil Una, District Una, engulfing several migrant huts today around noon. The incident, reported at 12:00 PM today.
According to initial reports from the DEOC Una, approximately 25-30 huts were consumed by the flames, although the exact figure is yet to be confirmed. The fire, which spread rapidly, caused significant damage before being brought under control and extinguished by the prompt response of the fire department.
While the blaze has been contained, no human loss has been reported so far. Even the damage is currently being assessed. Authorities from the Sadar Una Police Station are coordinating efforts to ascertain the full scope of the incident and provide necessary assistance to those affected.
