Five people from Punjab, including kid lose life in accidents in HP

Five people from Punjab including a kid have lost lives since the last 24 hrs in three separate road accidents. According to state disaster management authority spokesperson, Three youth from Punjab lost life in a road accident which occurred on the Shoghi-Mehli bypass road at Bhong in outskirt of this capital town late night. A Mahindra Maxim vehicle carrying four youth rolled off the road about 900 meters downhill in the dark of last night. In this incident, three people died on the spot and another was minor injured and was referred to IGMC Shimla for the medical treatment.
Deceased were identified as Krishan s/o Chandiya R/o Bhangal, Nangal (30) Punjab (Driver), Amar (18) S/O Jaile Singh R/o Bhangal and Rajveer (16) S/o Aitwari R/o Machiwada, Ludhiana. Lakhan (31) S/o Balka R/O Bhangal, Nangal is hospitalized. The mishap occurred around 9 pm on Monday.
In another a bike carrying three persons hit a truck head-on collision at Nanawin village in Una district under police station Bangana this morning where two died on the spot, another suffered injuries. A woman and a child died on the spot and one person suffered injuries. The mishap occurred around 11.30 am Tuesday . Deceased identified as Swarna Kaur (33) years wife of Karnail Singh Basi Rajpura Distt Patiala Punjab and their 6 yrs old girl Vanshpreet. Police has lodged the case of rash and negligent driving against the Truck driver.
In a narrow escape, Chandigarh Transport Undertaking double decker bus went out of control near Village Panoh in Una district of Himachal Pradesh this morning. The illfated CTU Bus went out of control and toppled toward one side of the road near the Village Panoh at 9.30 am, on Monday. There were eight persons were on the board including driver and conductor and four of them have sustained minor injuries and are under treatment in RH Una. rests were reported safe. Una is about 190 km from here.
