Four die in tragic road accident near Manali

Kullu/Shimla, July 6
Four people lost their lives and one person sustained serious injuries in a tragic road accident that occurred near Raninalah in Manali, district Kullu, on Saturday.
According to initial reports, the vehicle they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge, killing four on the spot and leaving one critically injured.
Rescue teams, with the help of local residents, reached the site immediately and rushed the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed, and police have begun a detailed investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident.
Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased.
“I am deeply saddened by the loss of lives in this unfortunate accident in Kullu. My thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families. I also wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” he said in his message.
The state government has assured all possible assistance to the affected families.
