Himachal Pradesh Government decided offer the benefit of free diagnostic health service to all the patients in the state.
This was stated by the health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi in a notification issued here stating that the benefit of 56 diagnostic services, was earlier available to 11 selected category of patients. Now the state has decided to provide this benefit to all citizens of the state, added the order by the Secretary.

Now the state has decided to provide this benefit to all citizens of the state, added the order by the Secretary.However number and diagnostic tests mentioned in the aforesaid office order shall remain the same, stated the order. The State government had already issued a notification in the matter on Oct 8, 2019.
Various government health institutions should provide the facility of the same to all the patients as per the level and institutional capacity, concluded the government notification.
