The HP State govt employees shall get enhanced DA from March 2022. The Dearness allowance (DA) enhancement as announced by the State government, has been been notified. In a order issued on Feb 9 this year, Probodh Saxena, Additional Chief secretary (Finance) stated the Governor Himachal Pradesh is pleased to announce the enhanced DA@3% from the existing rate of 28% to 31% with effect from 1.07.2021.
Adding, that this shall be paid in cash with the salary of February 2022 payable in march 22, and the arrears accrued from 1.7.21 to 31.1.22 shall be credited to GPF accounts of the employees with the same month salary. ” The interest of the same shall be accrued w.e.f 1 march 2022.
In case of employees who have retired in between this period or who have closed the GPF accounts and employees who are governed under contributory pension scheme, the arrears on account of release of additional installment of DA w.e.f 1.7.21 will be paid in cash with salary of February 2022, payable in march 2022.
