Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, successfully concluded a one-week National Workshop on Research Methodology with hands-on training in SPSS and AMOS (SEM). Held from June 8 to 12, the event was organized by the university’s Professional Training Cell under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena.
The valedictory ceremony featured Prof. (Dr.) Viney Kapoor Mehra, former VC of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonipat, as Chief Guest. She stressed the importance of integrating data-driven research techniques into legal and social science studies, informed a official spokesperson.
He said that over 70 participants from across India, including scholars and professionals, took part in interactive sessions focusing on research methodology, data analysis, and structural equation modeling. Dr. Deepika Gautam, Chairperson, PTC, presented a summary of the workshop, while Dr. Esha Bhagra, Coordinator, PTC, delivered the vote of thanks, he added.
The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates, reinforcing HPNLU’s growing stature as a centre for research and professional development.
