Shimla, Mar 27
An industrial fire erupted near ESI Katha in Baddi, Nalagarh tehsil of Solan district yesterday evening leading to significant damages and one reported injury. The incident occurred at Mark Enterprise Company premises.
As per reports around 10 firetenders from various stations were actively engaged in controlling the blaze.
No casuality information was reported so far. However one Suresh Chand, aged 43, and a resident of Uttarakhand, who may have been the factory manager sustained injuries in the incident. He had been promptly taken to Malhotra Hospital for medical attention.
As per a disaster managment spokesperson authorities are actively working to contain the fire and minimize further damage. Further updates will be provided as the situation unfolds.
