Keylong, district headquarter of Lahaul Spiti today recorded minus 12.1 degrees five degrees below normal and coldest in this winter season. Other towns of the state also witnessed subzero temperature in last 24 hrs.
The Met Office recorded minus 12.1 degrees Minimum temperature at Keylong and dip by 2.1 degrees and five degrees below normal, Kalpa in Kinnuar was minus three degrees, Bhuntur minus 1.8 degrees, Sundernagar minus 1.6 degrees, Solan minus 1.3 degrees, Mandi minus 1.1 degrees, Manali one degrees and Chamba 0.4 degrees.
Una was recorded at zero degrees and four degree below normal , Kufri 0.8 degrees, Palampur 0.1 degrees, Dharamshala 2.4 degrees, Bilaspur two degrees, Hamirpur 1.8 degrees, Shimla 4.4 degrees, Dalhousie 4.7 degrees and Nahan 2.5 degrees.
The Met Office has forecast rain or snowfall at isolated places in the high reaches and mainly dry weather in rest of state.
