The toy train movement between the heritage rail line linking Kalka to Shimla has been disrupted as a landslide struck the track on Thursday.
As per information, when the Shivalik express toy train was on the track this morning, it got struck by a landslide, near Patta Mor of district Solan. As per information by a official spokesperson from Indian Railways, big stones started falling from the hill and the driver had to apply quick brakes to avert any mishap. There were more than 50 passengers on the train when this incidence took place.
The movement of the train has been hampered and will be started after the removal of debris from the track. All the passengers who are boarding the train have been dispatched by buses to the destination.
