Landslide strikes Shiv Mandir at Boilueganj in Shimla, around 25 people feared to be buried

Around 25 devotees burried alive under Shivmandir temple near Bioleuganj in the outskirt of capital town as landslide hit the temple during morning prayer on Monday.
Police sources said that devotees were gathered in the shrine around 0700hrs for special prayers on Monday. A massive landslide occurred on the Andadi road near Totu-Shimla Railway line and hit the temple.
Massive landslide over the railway line hit the temple after inceasent rainfall overnight.
Local people left shocked on the mishap and informed the administeration about it. More details is awaited.
Meanwhile, the Central Reserve Force was deployed to evacuate the victims from the rubbles. The incidents occurred when number devotees were busy preparing Khir Parsad for special prayers early today.

The devastrating rain in the past 72 hours has claimed number of casualities, as after news of 7 people losing life in Mamligh area of Solan district now this massive landslide has taken toll in the Capital this morning.
Although unconfirmed, but some people struck under the debris have tried to call for help as 6-7 bodies have been recovered.
Meanwhile reports arriving that the circular road of Shimla has alao been effected as a tree fell down near holiday home.
