Man ends life hanging to a pipe railing nr Railway museum

A Himachal Pradesh State Secretariat Employee who was posted in a sensitive confidential branch as Superintendent was found hanging to a pipe railing next to Kalka-Shimla Railway track near Bhalku Museum near old ISBT.
Additional SP Northern Traffic Tourist and Railway police, Nirvir Singh Rathore informed news agency that circumstantial evidence revealed that it is suicide case. However, no suicide note was recovered from the crime spot.
The police is probing the case and investigating for the reasons of taking such an extreme step of ending the life.
He said that railway police got information around 800 hrs on Saturday that, a person was found hanging on the railing below the railway track between Shimla Railway Station and Bhalku Museum.
A Police team reached the spot brought down the body and sent it to the hospital for postmortem. Deceased identified as Mehar Singh(47) who was posted as Superintendent in the Confidential branch of the Secretariat and was a ex serviceman.
Late Singh was living I Nabha govt residencial accommodation at House Block S, in Shimla. He belonged to Sundernagar district Mandi.
