Manali gets light rain, ass the weather was mainly dry in the State. The Met office recorded 1.2 cm snow in Keylong and Manali(Kullu) had two mm rain. High reaches of Lahaul-Spiti had light spell of snow. No impact of fresh inclement weather is on the roads so far.
Manali Leh National Highway ( NH – 003 ) is open for all types of local vehicles ( except two wheelers and trucks ) up to Darcha. The Shinkula road is closed for all types of vehicles. Pangi-Killar Highway ( SH – 26 ) is open for local four by four vehicles. Kaza road ( NH – 505 ) is closed from Gramphu to Kaza and Sumdo to Losar is open for four by four vehicles.

Met office sounds yellow alert for the next two days. Thunderstorms and lightening may occur at isolated places over low and mid hills of the state on Tuesday and Heavy rain or snow at isolated places over mid and high hills and thunderstorm lightning & hailstorm likely to occur over planes or low and mid hills of the state on Wednesday.
Met office forecast rain or snow in isolated places in the next 24 hrs and widespread rainfall on Wednesday in the state.
Minimum temperatures recorded one to two degrees above normal. Minimum temperature of Shimla 8.8 degrees, Bhuntar airport 5.5, Kalpa minus one, Dharamshala 11.2, Una 9.6, Nahan 13.3, Keylong minus 5.1, Solan 7.6, Manali 1.8, Kangra 10.4, Mandi 7.2, Bilaspur 11, Hamirpur 8, Chamba 8.6, Dalhousie 6.8, Jubbarhatti airport 10.6, Kufri 5.3 and Narakanda 2.3 degrees respectively.
