Kullu and Mandi districts in Himachal Pradesh experienced mild tremors on Tuesday afternoon. No loss of life and property reported due to the Tremors.
The earthquake, which occurred at 12:02 p.m., caused panic among residents, prompting many to rush out of their homes in fear. This was the second tremor felt in Kullu in just two days.
According to the National Earthquake Science Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the hilly region between Kullu and Mandi. The quake registered a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale. Despite the tremor, no reports of damage have surfaced.
The epicenter was pinpointed at latitude 31.74 and longitude 76.86 and five km deep. While the earthquake’s intensity was low, its recurrence has raised concerns among residents about potential future shocks. So far, authorities have not issued any warnings or damage reports.
