Missing Gaziabad tourist from Manikaran valey : Kullu police SIT grills 20 persons
Fifteen days ago a young Gaizabad Tourist, identified as Abhinav Mingwal went missing from Manikaran valey of Kullu district. The youth reportedly arrived at Kasol from Gazibad to celebrate new year. According to Superintendent of police Gurudev Singh, the tourist Abhinav was seen in front of Volvo bus after that his presence could not be established.
The father of the missing youth has filed a complaint of kidnapping in Ghaziabad as well. To trace out the missing, a three member SIT was set up which search the hotel unit in Manikaran valley where this tourist stayed and where the party took place. The owner of hospitality unit was among 30 people who have been questioned so far.
Having no iota of his physical presence now the SIT decided to do technical investigation. It is expected that information about the missing tourist would be received soon. During preliminary investigation and on the statement of his family members it has been ascertained that during his halt at Kullu he had gone missing on the night of 31 December and till now no trace of software engineer Abhinav Mingwal has been found. Three member SIT is continuously camping in the valley.
Also, now the SIT has started searching for missing Abhinav in different areas of Manikaran Valley. Apart from this, the help of local people is being taken. Father of missing youth informed that DIG has assured a serious investigating the matter.
According to police Abhinav Mingwal went to Kasol alone by Volvo bus on 26 December 2022 for New Year party. He stayed in a hotel from 26 to 28 December, while on the evening of 28 December he shifted to Perk Up Hotel in Kasol. Before he went missing he last time had conversation with Abhinav’s mother on the phone at around 6.30 pm on 31st December 2022 and is missing since.
