Accused of sexual offence against a minor hanged himself in his own house at Sunder Nagar BBMB Colony. Case was registered yesterday against accused elder man and matter was under investigation.
According to police sources a case had registered in BSL Colony police station Sunder Nagar against an 65 year old local resident under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences act yesterday on the complaint of victim’s parents. Accused old man arrested by police and same day he got bail.
Yesterday night accused was in his home and today early morning his wife serve him bed tea. After that when all family members was busy in there daily routine works accused person Hanged himself in his rooms roof. DSP Sundernagar Gurbachan Singh said that the body of hanged person has been sent to postmortem and shall handover to family members after necessary formalities.
