Shimla, Feb 25
Upset with the anti Sujanpur attitude of the present regime, the dissident party MLA, Rajendra Rana may join the BJP if the people want. Rana hinted the same during a meeting that was held at Sujanpur today.
Rana was elected on Congress party ticket from Sujanpur defeating candidate of the BJP in the last assembly elections. In 2017 elections, he earned the title giant killer by defeating his mentor and former Chief Minister, PK Dhumal thus creating a sensation all over India.
Talking to a group of reporters at Sujanpur tira, Rana said that whatever step he takes, will be taken in the interest of the public. There will be no compromise with honor and respect.
While addressing the workers at his residence, Rana said that even if the present government (which he is part of) does injustice with local people even that would not be tolerated. He said that many announcements were made by the Chief Minister for Sujanpur during the Holi Fair on March 5 last year and two of them have been fulfilled as yet. He stated that just because he is in the government, it does not mean that will not raise his voice.
Stating in front of hundreds of workers he claimed that now the party is being considering appointing him as a minister but there is no question of the same. “A lot can be done even without becoming a minister, ” he claimed. A poor man can eat one loaf of bread instead of two or three meals a day, but when it comes to honour, no compromise.
