Shimla, Feb 23
A major fire broke out at Bhandari Resin and Turpentine factory at Jaman- Ki-Ser under Pachhad Subdivision of Sirmaur in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday afternoon. It was brought under control after three hours, confirmed a senior administrative officer.
Subdivision Officer Pachhad Dr. Shashank Gupta said that fire broke out at 1520 hrs on Tuesday in the Resin and TurpentineFactory near Jaman ki ser Sarahan (Pachhad).
The blaze was triggered by the inflammable Rosin and Turpentine took almost three hours for the fire tender and local administration to bring it under control. No loss of life reported in the fire.
The factory owners and Employees were on the spot when the mishap occurred. A team of administeration has been deployed to access the loss caused by the mishap.
