The second edition of the Shimla Flying Festival & Hospitality Expo is set to be a star-studded affair with the special appearance of The Great Khali. The legendary Indian wrestler will add his unique charm to the event, scheduled to take place from October 16-19, 2024, at The Glide Inn, Junga.
This vibrant event, aims to bring together adventure sports enthusiasts, tourism professionals, and hospitality businesses, informed Arun Rawat the meet director. The festival will feature a thrilling Paragliding Spot Landing Championship, where pilots from across India will showcase their precision skills. The winner will receive a cash prize of ₹2.25 lakhs, he added.
Rawat said that in addition to the championship, the event will also include an exhibition showcasing products and services from the tourism, hospitality, and adventure sectors. Daily seminars and workshops will focus on the latest trends and best practices in these industries, he stated.
