Shimla, Feb 10
Prof. Simmi Agnihotri, wife of HP Deputy Chief Minister, Mukesh Agnihotri died last night due to breathing problems. After having problem she was moved to a hospital where doctors declared her dead.
There was a religious function at the house of Agnihotri family two days later.
Mukesh Agnihotri himself sharing the information on his Facebook page at 12 o’clock in the night wrote- Our dear Professor Simmi Agnihotri left us and Aastha (daughter).
He said that the mortal remains of Simmi Agnihotri are being brought to her native village Gondpur Jaichand. Where it will be kept for the last darshan till 1 pm. The funeral will take place at 2 o’clock.
Simmi Agnihotri, 56, was a professor in the Department of Public Administration at Himachal Pradesh University. Jagran was going to be held at his house after 2 days i.e. on 12th February. For which he had also posted the video on social media.
Many leaders including CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu have expressed grief over the demise of Simmi Agnihotri. CM has also canceled his program for the day.
