The State government is determined, to solve the cement company abrupt closure row at the earliest. The dispute arising in the two cement factories of the state has been taken very seriously and strict instructions have been issued to the higher officials for quick settlement through talks.
In a press statement, Chief Media Adviser to the Chief Minister Naresh Chauhan informed that as soon as the information about this dispute was received, the Chief Minister after going through complete details, while being at Delhi, and ordered the Chief Secretary to take action after evaluating various aspects. “The Deputy Commissioners of both the districts have been asked to hold talks with both the parties and resolve the dispute on priority basis,” stated the Chief Media advisor.
Chauhan said that thousands of people are getting direct and indirect employment in both the cement factories and their families earn their living from here. it happens. He said that protecting the interests of people is the topmost priority of the state government.
Chauhan stated that prima facie this development has taken place amidst a dispute between the cement companies and the transporters on increasing the freight charges and State will resolve it soon after holding talks with all the parties.
Earlier during the day CPI (M) had demanded to lodge a FIR against the Adani group on arbitrarily shutting down operations in both the factories. Even the transporters unions involved in the business have condemned the sudden closure, decision by the company management.
