Shimla, March 5
The HP assembly revoked suspension of five suspended legislators of the Congress party. The parliamentary affair minister, Suresh Bhardwaj brought resolution to revoke the suspension of five congress legislators. The same was passed with voice vote.
The 5 MLAs including leader of opposition Mukesh Agnihotri, Congress member Harshvardhan Chauhan, Satpal Raijada, Sunder Thakur and Vinay Kumar were suspended from assembly till march 20 due to alleged misconduct with the governor on the opening day. Since, then the five have been sitting on a Dharna at the Vidhan Sabha gate. Besides since the last couple of days, even the other MLAs of Congress party have been on a Dharna by abstaining the house. They have been repeatedly demanding revoking of the suspension.
Earlier yesterday even former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, made a remark about the ongoing stalemate.
