Shimla, Nov 1
BJP leaders are now crying on the dais, eyeing departure from power. Congress campaign committee chief Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu launched a scathing attack on the BJP leaders, stating that these tears are coming out because of the pain of parting from power. He added that first senior BJP leader and Union Minister Anurag Thakur started crying from Hamirpur, now all the BJP leaders are crying. Hansraj is crying in Churah and Shashibala is crying in Rohru. “The sobbing of these leaders is showcasing their attachment with power. Now that power is being snatched away, every street is crying in the locality,” he commented.
Sukhu said that there has been a public outcry against the anti-people BJP government in the state, which is clearly visible to the saffron party leaders. There is resentment in the public against the BJP government due to inflation, unemployment, and the old pension scheme. The people of the state are ready for a change of power. Therefore now BJP leaders are crying on the forums.
Sukhu said that lakhs of state employees have been agitating against the demand of the old pension scheme for years, but the anti-employee BJP government did not listen to them; on the contrary, they harassed the employees fighting for their rights by registering cases and transferring them. State employees are no longer going to be misled, he added.
Sukhu added that the Bharat Jodo Yatra of senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is getting substantial public support across the country. Due to which, the National leaders of the BJP have gone furious and are making rhetorical statements about the yatra.
Sukhu said that the people of the state have been troubled for five years due to the anti-people policies of the BJP government. The BJP government has failed to provide employment to lakhs of unemployed youth of the state. At the same time, the general public is very upset due to inflation. Inflation is increasing every day, due to which it has become difficult for the common man to eat bread for two times. The Modi government also imposed GST on food items like milk curd, flour rice. Gas cylinder has become costlier by Rs 1150.
There is a wave going on in the entire state against the government, which is ready to hand over the reins of power to Congress, claimed the Congress leader.
